The differences between male and female whitetail deer

White-tailed deer are a common sighting in the Lake Hatchineha area even though they can run up to 30 miles per hour and are the shyest of all deer. It’s hard to tell if this herd is male or female because even though the males grow antlers at the end of each spring, they shed them each year.
