Nature

A Luxury Ecotourism Vacation Where You're
Surrounded By Over 1,000 Species of Plants and Animals

CREEK RANCH IS FUNDAMENTALLY a 1,400 acre nature preserve and arboretum. We're surrounded by vast tracts of park and preserved land. From the moment you enter the Ranch you'll be enveloped by a canopy of dense and gnarled live oak trees, loaded with Spanish Moss.

As you emerge into the expansive pastures you'll likely see Sandhill Cranes, the world's oldest living bird scurrying about, followed in spring, by their adorable colts. Venture further and you reach alligator pond where, if it's midday, you may catch a glimpse of the big old lazy gator sunning himself.

Continue on and you'll see the Bunkhouse (our name for the main house) stretching across the property and an army of perhaps 100 pure white egrets lurking right outside as if they knew your arrival time. You're here...and that's just the start.

  • 12,000 acre Nature Conservancy's Disney Wilderness Preserve borders us across the lake. Isolated & uncrowded. Perfect for private, guided visits.
  • 8,000 acre Catfish Creek State Park borders us on the south. 6 miles of hiking trails. 8 miles of riding trails.
  • Over 90 species of birds have been seen here.
  • The famous Lake Wales Ridge runs through the Ranch, and is home to endangered species like the Florida scrub jay, Eastern Indigo Snake, Sand Skink and many more plants and animals.
